Lindzey and I are homeowners, sort of. My Papaw, in his awesomeness, decided to put down the downplayment on a home and then have Lindzey and I make payments to him. We were, of course, shocked at his generosity, but he insisted.
We placed an offer on a home at 721 East 21st Street in our hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky. As of yesterday, it was accepted! Now, we must start the process of moving. Moving me out of my Bowling Green apartment and into my grandma's house while we wait to close on our new home. So, right now at least, Lindzey and I are both living out of boxes! She's at her grandma's in Owensboro, and I'm still in Bowling Green, cleaning out my apartment and finishing up my last few days at Best Buy.
A lot is changing, and it's all changing very quickly. I'll be a married man in less than a month! It's crazy to think I'm at this stage of my life, but I'm excited and I thank God for all the opportunities He has provided us, including this new home, Lindzey's new job at the Owensboro messenger-Inquirer and my new job at AT&T.
